Really new to all of this

Im just getting interested in surfing, learning how to do everything and even what everything is. I bought this board for 20 bucks, its a little beat but im not even really sure what is? Anyone help? Pictures are attached.

my dad has two of those, i never tried but my brother did and said it was fun but didn't really get into it.
at least it was only $20 and not $200.

Yep thats a windsurf board. Looks like a 'Sailboard Masterclass 355' circa mid 1980's which some eejit has put an extra fin in the back of the fin box, and the dagger board is missing. It will surf very badly.

All windsurf boards surf badly, cos they're just not shaped the same way. However, getting that thing in the water and building up paddle fitness would be a good start!!
