Learning my first trick ?

I have had my first short board for about 6 months now and im comfotable riding waves of about 3 ft but i dont seem to do much on the wave and i was wondering if any of you could tell me what trick i could learn that is quite simple to learn
???????

Are you just trimming along the face of the wave?
if so, then its time to think maneouvres (rather than tricks). Place to start is the cutback.

If you are already riding down the face of the wave:
Instead of trying new tricks or worrying about what to do on the wave... focus on flowing and riding the wave smoothly.
The turns will eventually come, specially once you start reading the waves better.
Instead of trying a tight turn or "trick" and fallinmg on your ass, focus on getting longer rides. Eventually you will need cutbacks and floaters to make your rides longer.
my advice is to not worry much at the moment, but to enjoy and make the most of it.
If you just go straight towards the beach:
stop doing it. Drop in sideways along the face of the wave or learn how to bottom turn.

agree bottom turn and the classic cutback or round house cutty are some fundamentally strong things to know. As for "tricks"/ maneuvers...I would suggest whenyou are solid on the above fundamentals, go for a floater on the close out or a crumbling section. Floater is fun and fairly easy.
Keep the stoke.
