i had the same problem with the person who made this rack, it bugged me holding my long board for 2 miles while on my bike, and most of the time i was dropping it on the ground. so i looked for buying surfboard racks and then i found this site <snip>

its great, i built my own rack..its ghetto..but at least you wont have your board dragging on the ground anymore. just make sure you dont ride past by some babes in a nice car.
