Surfing Waves

I'm new to the waves, starting this summer in Cornwall, Does anyone have any tips??? :D

My advice is to go to the main site and read all the surfing lessons. This should help get you on your way and give you some knowledge about what you need to keep in mind when surfing.
Use the time before summer to get fit - this will help no end.
When you start, try and get into the water at every available opportunity.
If you are going to be in Cornwall you might consider surfing lessons.

Anyone else got any tips?
