Tomorrow's huge swell in SoCal...

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum, and havent been surfing all that long and had a question. Tomorrow is supposed to be huge, my friends and I are going to leave school at the beginning of lunch tomorrow to check out the beach. I was wondering if there will be any spots that a bunch of late beginner- early intermediate surfers can have a good time at without dealing with some sets that are a tad too much to handle. I was also wondering where the swells would be biggest, so we could definitely admire it from the beach before we headed to a more tame spot (if there will be any). Thanks in advance for any help
