I'd love a left. Not exactly sick of long right hand points, but a left one would be most welcome.

Are you goofy or natural? If you're having trouble with your backhand, then you need to practice loads more. It's harder, and you can overdo the bottom turn easier, and just fly off the back or something.

Look where you want to go, your board will follow, and try not to get too high on the face from your first turn, and keep cutting back into the pocket, which is a bit easier on your backhand, because you can see where you are going.

If you're natural, I would have thought it would have been easier on your frontside??

I know I can sometimes favour frontside rides, but I tend to try to spend an entire session concentrating on going the other way so it doesn't get too weird feeling.....

Um...frontside for a natural is going right. He's having trouble with the lefts.

Just keep practicing...there's no real magic answer.

I have a break close to me that only goes left so i will go there every so often and just catch lefts to practise.

So in other words the magic answer is to practise :-)
