Whats the best advice anyone has ever given you?

Last summer when I was first starting to get the hang of it I was out one day with a few groms in maybe 3-4 ft. waves. On just about every wave I took that day I would stall and miss it just as I was starting to pop up....until one of the friendly groms suggested I move a little bit more forward on the board :lol:

Dumb as that sounds, it helped.

Never been hit yet, will be surfing 40 years this year.
