NSP Surfboards and learning

Hi Matt, welcome to Surfing Waves.
Congratulations on getting your first surfboard (well, in a few days time anyway!)
A 7'10'' NSP board will be a great first board - these boards are aimed at beginner through intermediate level. You should find yourself improving at a much quicker rate than on your shortboard (which you can always keep around for later).
The other good thing about these surfboards is that when you are ready to move on there is always a good market of new surfers to sell the board to.
Good luck with your new board - enjoy it.
