swtching from 7'4 board to 6'1 board need som advice

alright ive been surfing for like 2 months now and i can easily ride the line and im comfortable with my pop up and everything on my 7'4 stewart but i got a 6'1 matt kechele board a couple days ago and its almost like starting over again any advice

um.... it kinda is like starting over again, you have to find the sweet spot (where you sit, where you stand etc.) on any board, no two boards are a like. my advice go out and surf. it will take a few days to get use to and even then you have to learn what its like to be on something that small. best of luck to ya.
