I just thought taht the poll was in surf spots beacuse it is for people interested in viewing surf spots, and that it is not common or healthy to post "marketing" to other posts...

surf patrol is a very nice and forgiving admin, but i fear that this forum will be a bit chaotic when it grows...

i dont make rules here
i am just asking if it is something that should be done, or something to be avoided in future.

but dont worry, tomorrow i´m going to the beach for a month, you wont hear me whining again for some time

:P

Over and done

Lets not worry any more about it. The post is now fine. I know what you mean leolivi and posting of marketing stuff will always be a problem. People want advertising for nothing and that will always happen. The offending post has been removed and I am sure it will not be the last.

Have a great trip by the way - make sure you get plenty of photos for us all :D - hope you get some great waves.
