Postby Guest » Wed Jun 09, 2004 10:01 am

lo could anyone help me in this question please:

when i pop-up what foot should i put it first? the front foot or the back foot, in my case left foot is the back and rigth the front.
im asking because i put my back foot first and normally my board stops, maybe the problem is that i should put first the front foot.

thanks alot

its not a problem of which foot first, its where?
Ideally both feet should land at the same time, sounds to me as if your left foot is too close to the rear of the board and your stalling it.

Trying working on your pop at home and getting you feet further forward

Practice, practice, practice

pop-up

Normally if you are right handed you will be left foot dominant (meaning your left foot will be up front). When you pop-up have the left foot on the middle of the board about the level with your chest making you put the weight on the front foot and keeping you from putting your total weight on the back foot. once you stand up distribute the weigh equally. I hope i made sense. Good luck.
