should i practise on my surfboard?

Had a brilliant time in the surf today!

It was really messy, like being on a boat, not great conditions really.

But the waves had a decent bit of power, and I was trying to put all your tips into use.

AND.... I caught one wave, really really focused, and my knees didn't touch the board - I did a real proper pop up!

Then I immediately fell off again, but I was so made-up!

Then I caught another, the same thing happened. Spectacular wipe out, this guy was like 'that didn't look like fun', I was like 'no, you're so wrong, I'm so happy'. He thought I was a lunatic as he walked off quickly.

I'm just so pleased that there's an end in sight..... thank you all so much...
