Surfer chicks

Hello
I having a few lessons and would like to buy my own board fairly soon.

Does anyone have any advice on finding some girls for me to surf with?
I want to progress quickly and surf often so how do I find girls I can go out in the surf with on a regular basis.

Should I join a club or something? I live near the Gold Coast, Australia.

First time i looked at that i thought "GOOD MAN!!!" Here's a guy who is getting in to surfing, and is looking for a possey of good looking surfer chicks to accompany him out into the breaks, and to make the already beautiful australian coast even more gorgeous with bikini clad tanned female surfers,....

Then i realised spud_127 was in all probablity a girl. My day dream was dashed, until i realised the guy's spot is yet to be filled....

So anyway, my best advice would be to post on a forum with a topic such as Any female surfers near the Gold Coast, Australia?

But that's not very good advice, cos you have done it already!!!!

Im not sure if "Surf-Clubs" are that numerous?! It's not the sorta thing that i have come across, unless its like the "Warwick University Surf Club". Generally thats a more common thing for football....

Best things are:

1. just to get chatting to girls you meet on the beach [always good advice :), ] and y'know find out where they are from.

2. Ask if you can put a notice up in your local surf shop, asking if there are any local girl surfers around aged = blah blah

3.Spam loads of surf forums!!!

Hi Spud_127, welcome to Surfing Waves.

It won't be long before you meet some surf chicks on the Gold Coast - the whole coast is packed with them. You are lucky to be learning in such a great place surf wise - good luck to you.
