Hi there and welcome to Surfing Waves

As Surf Patrol says, there is loads of information on the main site. Also take a look through the surfing for beginners forum at some of the other tips.

The reason is that there are so many tips you can give to a new surfer that to try and do one post with everything in it would take ages to type!!

Take a look through, if you have any specific questions, like good places to learn, what kit you need, how to paddle, how to get up etc. post them and you'll get loads of replies!
