Ok so we hve tempered our attitude, made some good observations and we reach decision.
The first and basic decision is should I go out....Just because there is surf with a bunch og guys does not automatically justify a decision, I have to go out....
A further decision is which board will I use....If you are like me I generakky travel with one stick that I am confident will be good for most conditions I am likely to go out in....But if say northy is going off at 8 feet, then its my bturn to sit in the car park and enjoy watching the crew get stuck into it.....
On the same token, if its a good littke beach break at Steyne, then its my turn, I am into it....
So, one basic decision, should I go out is, contrary to what some realise, very important...
Other decions quickly follow if attitude and observations are good, this includes picking the spot to paddle out and knowing where you are heading to catch waves....
