Surfers' wisdom needed

Postby TX Surfer » Sat Apr 10, 2004 7:03 pm

Hello all,

I'm a beginner surfer from Austin, TX and the nearest break to me is Corpus Christi or Galveston, which is about 4 hours away so I could use your help. I'm a grad student at the University of Texas and I'm doing a research project for ...lost surfboards. I've gone on their website and searched around a bit on the net to educate myself on the brand, but I would like to get some actual surfers' input on the following...

What distinguishes ...lost boards from other boards.

What are the main benefits of using a lost board over any other brand?

What do you personally look for in a surfboard and why?

Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated.
