wind swell and ground swell?

Whats the differance, and which is better?

Ground swell is made by winds out at sea blowing on a large space of water, wind swell is by local winds and makes chooppy messy wves

Ground swell is better

windswell is waves that break close together where ground swell has a longer period between each wave and set.
