not sure of the name, but remember seeing a site for a crowd in england that offer surf coaching to more advanced surfers also...

you go out with a coach who offers pointers etc. while someone videos your session... then later they review the video with you pointing out what areas you need to work on..

haven't seen it in action myself, but it definitely sounds like a really good idea.... think it might have been a bit expensive tho.

crepuscular - that's the only way to do it. know a few people who just went to lesson after lesson for months. then gave up for a long while... bought boards and stared again months later.... nearly like starting from scratch.
pure waste of money... must have run into nearly a 1000 bucks each!!
