Well as i am a keen photographer myself, i thought i'd see how many others enjoyed a spot of photography! if you do, why not put a few sweet shots up?

And even if your not but still have a couple of nice photos, why not share them???

ill try and put a couple up ASAP, in the mean time, what does everyone think of the idea:?:

I'll stick some up later. I'm quite keen on it, mainly take surfing pics or landscape/wildlife stuff - living in New Zealand it's not exactly hard to get some impressive shots with minimal skill.

They're nice pics.

What gear are you using?

Pro here! Ex-formula 1 snapper. Gave it up to move back to Ireland, 10 mins from strandhill. Don't have any interest in shooting surfing here though, I've done enough standing around in the cold! But here's one from when I was a keen youngster 5 years ago!

Canon 300d digi SLR, soon to be replaced with a 40d when I save up the cash.

Canon 70-200 F4 L - love this lens, awesome quality
Canon 50mm F1.8
Canon 18-55 POS that came with the camera

I really want to get a nice macro lens - love your close up shots.

Used to have a Minolta A2.

Now have a 350d with:
Sigma 10-20mm
Canon 50mmf1.8
Canon 28-80 USM (good early one)
Canon 70-300 f4-f5.6 POS.
Manfroto 190 tripod.

Love the sigma wide angle and the speed/DoF of the f1.8

Would love to spend a fair ol wedge on some good kit but this stuff is expensive as it is.

Apologies for the watermarked ones... am in bed on the new MacBook (not literally) and havent got ANYTHING on here yet.

Equipment wise I've got a Canon 350d with a Canon 12-24, a Canon 18-55, a Canon 75-300 and a Sigma 500mm, Canon EOS50e film camera which I havent used in a while and a Canon EOS600 which my parents got me yonks ago as my first camera. Also got a Canon Powershot (cant remember the model, only got it a few weeks ago and it's in the car) and a Sony W5.
