Wow kitey. That is a pretty insecure work you got there. That is like my high school firewall. It only blocked the initial page, if you could get a URL that was past the index page, you were golden.

It is a university afterall and they are useless. Beats me why they've blocked it though when i can happily while away hours on messenger.

At my old school they used to block hotmail, all you had to do was use yahoo search for hotmail login, and you could get in. Same thing you are doing. Silly people. What they should do if they want it blocked is to block all URLS with the facebook name in it. That is how my work does it. Though it is the Military, and I have head that some branches of our military have been ordered to remove their facebook profiles because of security issues. Though I will leave it to your imagination as to what 'branch' or the military is that sercurity concious.
Facebook is one of those internet fads that most employers see as too much of a waste of time, so they block it to make you work more. I have friends that spend hours a day on there....i just dont get it.

I find the speeds to be crazy slower though. Then again, I have only tried using proxys for watching streaming videos.
