American Surfers Travelling to Australia

Hey, I live in sydney, surf etc Am trying to get in contact with ANY american surfer who's commin to australia in the near future. So if anyone knows ANYONE at all who's commin to Aus soon, let me know
I need someone in the US to help us with something and I can PAY them for it
there's this collectible bottle over in the US that I have to get to australia, I own the bottle, but i cant get it
posted here because of ultra strict shipping policies of fedex, dhl etc BUT its absolutely fine to bring over on a plane. Only problem is i dont know anyone at all who might be commin to aus in the near future,

I can get it posted to you in the states and then pay you when you get here for bringin it over for us
I live in Syd and surf up the coast usually a couple of times a year as well, so should be easy to arrange somethin, or even arrange to just post it to us when you get here and I can transfer funds through in advance or something

And just to repeat, I will pay you for bringing it over the plane for us

So, it's illegal to ship it, but you can carry it yourself... I didn't think customs law worked like that. I thought it went more one the lines of: if you can transport it, no means no!

Thanks thats a really nice offer, but the problem is more with customs, if they find a package that has a bottle of liquor in it they will return to the sender, or even just hold it indefinitely. So I might pay $80US for fedex postage and it could just end up getting sent back to you.
It goes through an x-ray machine usually so they can see if a bottle of something's in it.

But like I said, bringing it over on a plane is no problem, its just about market control.

So if you know anyone who might be comming to australia soon, would be great if you could let me know, I'd pay them well for bringing it over, its a rare bottle, not just a regular bottle of liquor, I can provide a bubble wrap package for it to travel in too, Thanks
