I've just celebrated my 2 year anniversary with my G/F / Fiancee, and now she has been diagnosed with hepatitus, and is in hospital. it's the first night we've spent apart, and I feel really low.............

Oh sh*t! You ok dude? And more importantly, is she going to be alright? Just read the wiki entry, looks like most people get over it, so if you're feeling lonely, remember she'll be back with you soon.

Much sypathy though mate.

Getting over it depends on what type of hepatitis it is. The "C" type is some nasty $hit. You don't just get over it. My bosses wife has it, and she has to get a liver....maybe kidney transplant to live.

What a way to brighten up keefs day by saying that!!! Seriously well done! prat! Keef, stay on the positive side mate, I know it must be difficult under those circumstances but try to keep your hopes up and be ready to support her when you see her and when she gets back to you!

Hey.... I wasn't trying to bring him down, just letting him know there are many types of hepatitis. The most common really isn't nothing to worry about.

hey guys, i know the facts.
we're still waiting on the test results, which we were sposed to get today.
but they have said that the only way it can be passed to me is blood to blood contact, which would tend to suggest Hep C.

but you know what docs are like, trying to pin them down to an easy to understand simple answer is as easy as nailing the pipeline at Jaws

visiting is 12 - 21 hrs, so at least i can go surf in the morning...............

:D

Tic Tac judging by the time scale I'm guessing you actually just did that jelly and happened to have a plank handy as well.

she says once she's better she's gonna do some of the things that she's been finding excuses not to do........
including learning to surf and snowboard.
Wicked.

Diagnosed with Gall Bladder stone. Operation to remove it is Friday morning. Was gonna be today but got cancelled due to another person's emergency.

So fingers crossed for then. But overall very happy it's not Hep C.
