What a drag... wish she would have had to do some "hard" time like any other typical schmo would have to have done... Let her out due to an iminent "nervous breakdown..." Who would dare to say now that there is equal justice in the U.S.!

As much as I hate to say it, seems like this country is heading down the crapper faster than... well imagine what...

I'm so pissed off... freaking biatch... no talent, no work, no nothing but inherited money. Frankly, SHE AIN'T EVEN THAT CUTE!

I see what you're getting at there but there are far more important injustices (sp) going on in the world compared to Paris managing to get out of jail because her bubble has popped and she is now "ill" because she needed to face the consequences of her actions for 4 (?) days.

( I somehow feel that the above statement is contradictory but being mildly drunk and very tired I cant figure out how, can someone please explain?? )

Let's see, what's more important, 800,000 killed in Darfur or Paris getting out of jail... Which is getting more media time in the U.S. (which you obviously are not aware of being a resident of the UK)? I'm just making a statement about a minor injustice that should not have happened. Believe me, if it was you or me, we'd be doing a heck of a lot more time than PH, and doing time would affect my life much more than those poor suffering folks in Darfur, so I guess I'll just pick my battles, no matter how insignificant they may be. Just a rant Brah.

I listened to the radio news on the way home from work, and it certainly wasnt about Darfur

I guess injustice is injustice - its not right and thats what counts, just the attention that this little Paris thing get compared to other things that grates me.

In the whole scheme of things? sod off Paris, I really dont care  but at the same time the pretty little rich girl got special treatment cos she couldnt handle it when faced with the consequences of her actions so got the ticket to easy street. Hey, its just a different world I guess

edit - -just read your first post thru properly - I agree

Still think you should put the 'couldnt give a flying fleshin'' in the poll tho

Well judging on what she had said pre going to jail....she wanted no special treatment and just wanted to do her time. She was sentanced to 43 days, it was cut down to 20 if she had good behavior. She went in on day at 10pm, and left at about 2am a two days later. She is said to have had an unspecified illness.

Now, I dont know exactly what has happened. Though it seems that people are more mad at the Sheriffs office for letting her go then her. They are the ones getting alot of the flak. I think that it is only setting a dangerous precidence. She was supposed to have gone to see a judge this morning to explain why she was released.

Yeah, I really don't care what she does, or who she does, or whatever, but dang it, don't give her special treatment due to some "funky" illness that suddenly developed just because she's a Hilton, let her do her time like any other citizen would have to...

Well now she's back in, as the judge specifically ordered that she was not allowed to be on electronic monitoring, but was required to serve her sentence in the county jail. They had a hearing today and she had the nerve to whine "It's not right....it's not fair".
