I was just wondering what my blood type was recently, so I went and found out. Mainly because I tend to do plenty of daft things that could end up in serious injuries at times :roll:

It turns out I'm AB- (A rhesus B negative) which is supposed to be quite rare.

Does anyone else know what their type is? Just curious

Because I am a wuss and scared of needles. I still dont understand why I have so many piercings and tattoos...

I haven't for awhile, no fears of blood or needles just haven't gotten around to it. But that is something that is going to change very soon, just looking for the nearest blood bank to me.

Also I have juicy veins so i've been told, by the nurses.

Plus since my blood type is only 2% of the population I should give blood.

body feels so much better th following days/weeks after giving blood. The body making nice new fresh stuff free from toxins and alcohol

No idea what i am. Keep meaning to give blood but had a tattoo, had to wait a year after that till i could give blood...then got another tattoo. Cant at the mo as i'm on drugs (of the prescription variety) that means i cant give blood :roll:

I have given blood a few times but havent got round to it for a while.

O negs should give blood as its a universal donor blood - think thats right

Yup, thats right - O's can give to anyone, while AB's can take from anyone but give to noone but themselves, the selfish buggers :lol:

Hey, I'm AB neg as well - not so rare, eh?!

My most recent letter from the Blood Service says its less than 1% of the population :shock:
