Surfing Waves

im just starting to skim board and find it pretty fun. im looking for a good beginner board, probably a wooden one. theres not usually waves to be caught by skimboards around here, so ill probably just be moving up and down the beach. any company preferences?

i've got a wooden one made by Victoria, and it flies!...pricey though, for a bit of wood.
