I just opened up the paper, looked at the business section, and lo and behold the top headline is that Tesco is planning to open 6 locations in the OC, didn't read the whole article though. Should be interesting when they finally open, then even more people on here can complain about Tesco.

Meh, UK loves to target the successfull. IMO Tesco make money because they got it right, where Sainsbury et at got it wrong.

Hope it works out for them in the US.

Tesco out of town supermarkets...fine, if that's what consumers demand, blah blah blah....

but going after the little guy who makes a living selling papers, milk, bread and fags by putting a 'tesco metro' right next door to them... In my opinion that's wrong!

If we had a proper Labour government, there might be a bit more legislation to protect the little dudes.

I just heard on the news that the Tesco Metro near my house is currently in the process of burning down. Ha ha. :lol:

Ha ha. Just cycled past the blackened mess that is Tescos.

It was a big fire, but in the back of the building, so the store itself looks intact.... but very very mucky :twisted:

Noone was hurt so feel free to chortle.
