I know there's a few - but who here is in Sydney?

I'm coming to sydney on thursday
I'll be staying a couple of weeks, going to visit the (potential) new boss, getting to know sydney a bit before deciding if I want to move over later this year

...And of course getting a few days in the water

Will have to hire a board this time though
Whats the sea temp like at the moment? What you all wearing in the water?

If I do move over I'll be arranging the "Surfing Waves Sydney Spring 2007 (Please Somebody Talk To Me, I Don't Know Anyone In This Hemisphere) Meet"

im not in Sydney but that sounds awsome, its something id love to do after I graduate. You should check magic sea weed, see the surf reports for Aus and it will tell you the temps and all that on there..

No worries mate , you get yourself over there ..ive got a big ol' pile of friends between Brizzy and Sydney ..as soon as they're back from the mountains they'll all be heading home... i'll happily sort out some hook-ups for you bro

Hey DBBB. I surfed near Bris this time last year and was OK in boardies and a rashie but got a little cold after a couple of hours. I'm taking a shortie out with me this time as a lot of surfers were out in them.

No, Im planning on being all irritating at the summer meet talking about 'when I was in Sydney...' and of course 'When I've moved to Sydney...'

Mostly at Phil and Kitey though to shut them up about costa rica

"when i was in sydney it was flat"

coz that wont do any good against cr talk from those two

Well, I'm sydney, and the weather is definately 3mm steamer, because the air/wind chill gets you... the water is definately boardies temp, but the wind is not.

Congrats for making the move to the fairer surfing climate

Don't worry about it being flat, there's always a reasonably surfable break somewhere nearby.

Also, check www.coastalwatch.com

It's got surfcams and the reports are heaps more accurate than magic seaweed.

Got to the sydney south page, and have a look at greenhills, Cronulla Point and Shark island...

These are the local favourites in the cronulla area.
