Sign of summer?

Postby .Jen. » Fri Apr 06, 2007 11:43 am

Went out for breakie and a drive this morning, pulled up and parked for a while and was very chuffed to see 6 Dolphins playing about in the water about 100 yards out in the bay.

Dont normally see them until its scorching hot, please let this be a sign that its gonna be a long hot summer

Ye, its really hot already over here. Not a cloud in the sky. What makes it worse is I have loads of work to do and will have to start revising soon :x

Blue bells are pretty much bursting on the estate at the moment... they should not be out until mid May.....

Hate the summer here, flat, sunburn, and bad tempered drivers.
Good things about summer, bbq, mini skirts, long days.

Na not into snow, love cold crispy mornings, trying to get that thick cold wettie on. And the 20 or so mins it takes to warm up in the water. After that all you have to worry about is ice cold slabs of water on your head each time you duck dive. Or try to go over the wave before the lip gets you, thats nasty.

Being on the grown up side of thirty, I wasnt sure about this whole 'owned/own3d' thing so I had a look on the new fangled internet and found this...

"Owned: An overused gamerboy term. Using this term is now considered the most potent contraceptive available. Anyone saying this is guaranteed not to get any."

Ah, thought as much....

:D Today was the first official beautiful day here in central New Jersey! I couldn't surf because I strained a muscle in my back a couple weeks ago and I don't want to aggravate it ( :( ), but that will certainly come soon. In the meantime I grabbed the baseball mitt and forced my girlfriend to have a catch.

I love summer :D
