Wow, sounds fab - do it!! After all, you're only young and carefree once in your life :)

Training/postgrads etc can wait for a while...I'm considering a similar (but far less exotic!) plan of my own along those lines right now as well...

Just sorting out visas and tickets for a trip down under.....

I hate fleshin' forms and paperwork and little men that work for 'authority'. What am I getting myself into? *deep breath, think positive thoughts*

Ho ho, there's the question....

This is a reccy trip to see whether I like it. So I'll be going for a shortish trip (10 days or two weeks, something like that).

THEN I have to decide whether Im moving out permanently....

Oh - and by the points system, being under 30 is best, but you still get points for being relatively young. Have you tried the free visa test on the web?

Nice..

Yeah i was 10 points short cos of age...you can still go for 1 year, leaving the country every 3 months (the last time i looked)..

Not really the attitude but i know i'll love it too much and then have to leave....kinda puts me off now...

Have a wicked time mate

Oooh I can get a Visa if the online check thing is to be believed and i'm 37.

I do think its probably more due to the fact that my missus is a nurse, but i used to be a Design Engineer up untill a year ago.
