At long last after six months of not having the internet at my house, Talk Talk have got thier ass into gear and sorted it out!.... so i can converse with you lovely people much more often.

Thats good news.Talk Talk were on Watchdog recently about how poor their internet service was.

O Danny Boy, look forward to a future of having your internet and phone calls randomly cut off and then not being able to get through for ages. Sorry buddy the woes dont end there - dont bother with customer service and the various different numbers you have to call for help because its no help whatsoever.

ahh, im very sorry! truely i am. you may not have the issues I have had. Now its sorted thanks to a tech buddy of mine and the only issues now are the disconnecting things.

I never had issues with BT disconecting me but it £10 cheaper a month which is £120 a year, a fair bit imo. I might not be an issue for you, depends how much you use the computer and stuff i guess. In the grand scheme of things - its a mild irritation, its only disconnected me twice tonight. I wont be going with talktalk next year tho.

That's exactly what the problem has been for months!!! My housemate was able to get online when he plugged straight into the modem, but the wireless network box didn't seem to connect to the internet. When we said we were going to change our service provider Talk Talk started being a lot more helpful and ran through all the settings, and got it working.
