In the not so distant future, if thing's go according to plan I am thinking about shaping boards. Loads of things to consider until I start putting anything in motion but if you were shaping and selling surfboards what would you name your business? and what sort of logo would you have for your business name?
Just want to get a few idea's because my mind has gone completely blank, either that or I have overloaded it with too many ideas :S Need to get the creative juices flowing again.
Do you think the name should summarize what you do? Or should it be something more abstract?

for the last 2 years iv been designing my own surf/skate clothes labe called Volder designing hats, shoes, T's etc so i guess Volder would be a sweet name for me.
TicTac could work also for u

Tic Tac Surfboards eh? Doesn't seem like something that would catch somebodies attention to me personally not sure how other people view it though. Seems a bit bland to me plus what sort of logo could you attach to that name?

A Tic Tac! no seriously i dno mayb something could inspire u like ur favourite place, item even animal. but i always think wen iv got the perfect name thers always 1 better so im never happy lol

Aye im using every source of inspiration I possibly can! Ive got a piece of paper in front of me with hundreds of different words and words that relate to them
Just a quick question, how would you pronounce Obj8ct? What I mean is that if the eight was bigger than the other letters and the whole word was surrounded by an 8 ball how would you say it? Object 8? 8 Object?

How about Mullet Surfboards.....Then you could use that picture of you for advertising......

i think object 8 would sound better then 8 objects. it would look cool actually with the work in a big 8-ball, i can see it now......

From a customer point of view, if you noticed a company called Obj8ct Surfboards would you shop with them? Would it be something you'd have a look at? I mean if you saw, Obj8ct Surfboards and Tic Tacs Surfboards, which one would you go for?
