I had a job interview on Monday for a great school in Shoreham, near Brighton... smaller classes, better behaved kids (hopefully!) and LONGER HOLIDAYS :woot:

Two whole months off every summer! (not 4/5wks like I get here). I got a call last night saying that out of the 10 he interviewed I was by far the best and he offered me the job!!!!!! I accepted! I start in September. I'm going to be head of my department. Unfortunately the money's not great at all, but there's more important things in life... like job satisfaction and LONG HOLIDAYS :woot:

I'm at work till 9pm tonight (options evening) but I don't care cuz it'll be my last one here. Everyone is wondering why I'm grinning so much!

The funniest thing was when I walked into my lesson this morning smiling and full of the joys of spring (I must admit I was practically bouncing up and down with excitement at the thought of leaving) - this kid said "ooooooooooo look, Miss obviously had a shag last night then"!!!!!!!!! :roll:

Haha, cheeky fleshers!! The best my 10 year olds came up with today, while disccussing whether or not York city centre should have traffic restrictions, was a fairly random "Its a long way to Skegness, isn't it Miss?" ??!!

Oh, and congrats Thaya, you soooooo deserve it! Have a lil drinkie on me :beer:
