I had a wicked time surfing and drinking with sar and essex the weekend before last, then I went to Birmingham and managed to bust my ankle. I'm hobbling around on crutches. I was going to post all our pics up, but the computer I'm on doesn't have anywhere for a memory stick  Just thought I'd drop by and say hello as Ive jsut been out to the docs to get another bandage sorted. There's someone coming to fix my interent access at home on wednesday, so fingers crossed I'll be able to sit in bed and talk shite all day long very soon. Can't wait to get my hoodie too! Is anyone actually going to post a pic so i can see what it looks like? I can't wait a whole day till tomorrow.

Wow, unlucky Thaya! Hope you recover soon... again...
So how'd you manage to bust your ankle... I don't imagine it was surfing, unless there's some secret spot in Birmingham I'm not aware of...

Probably that spot we passed on our detour round birmingham :P Although don't remember detouring far enough to see the sea must have been close though lol

I think i was drunk & slipped... my ankle went under itself and somehow I damaged a ligament. I'm still on crutches but I can take the bandage off tomorrow. It's feeling so much better. I'll be walking properly again by the weekend (I hope!). I'm just accident prone... or else I was a very bad girl in a past life and now I'm paying for it!!!

Take it easy Thaya, i did almost the same thing a few years back, but i ripped the muscles, tendons and ligaments !
I had to have a major ankle reconstruction, crutches for 6 months followed by learning to walk again with the physio !

All because i fell off the floor !!!!!

yeah.. a girl in my tutor was sat under a tree and a guy fell out of the tree and landed on her.... she broke her back and was stuck in a hospital bed for about 6months then she had to learn to walk again... and then complete all her coursework for GCSE's. she's happy though... which is surprising when i go all depressive when i think that the guy i like doesn't like me back [even though i dont actually no that... i just dont want to ask] so yeah... it's not the end of the world especially as it will be better soooooon.
[get better soon]
