Yeah speak to your doc first, I would wait until the swelling has gone completely and had some physio done to get full range of movement back into the wrist or you could masturbate for a week to get the movement back if you dont want to fork out on physio

Absolutely no point in trying to give advice over t'internet. A fracture rates from a tiny crack in an inconsequential place (painful, quick to heal, no long term damage) through to compound fracture of a load-bearing bone or - worse still - joint. The former will keep you out the water for a couple of weeks, the latter months, or worse.

Ive surfed with a cracked rib (very painful, but didnt effect the surfing) but been kept out the water by a very minor pull on a tendon in the ankle (not that painful, but meant that I couldnt stand on a board).

Only you and the physio can decide!

Know just how you feel.
I tore 2 ligaments in my ankle in September. I then tried to surf the following day!!!! (usual case of "it cant be that bad, surely, and how much do I really need my ankles?!)
Well, one pop up later and I was a gibbering wreck on the shore!
Went home and got a physio through work who told me I was a twat and would be out of the surf for at least 6 weeks - nooooooooo!!!!!
Anyway, it took me 2 months to get back on it and its still not quite right now.
Those 2 months were agony!!!!
