Today I have reached a new low. I have booked myself in for a fake tan

Its Ozzy beach party on campus tomorrow night and the only thing i can think of wearing are boardies (figure a 5/4 might get a little sweaty), they are quite short and i am quite pale. Sooooo i booked myself in.

I cant believe how expensive it is (i cant bring myself to type it) but it should be hilarious if nothing else! Except that it involves standing nearly naked in front of a complete stranger, being exfoliated and then fake tanned. This isnt even a spray tan so i can only imagine where shes gnna have to put her hands Actually im quite scared.......

LOL! Tho as I said Libs, I go for the occasional massage if and when I can afford one! (Oh God, how much stick am I gonna get now, I mean a real, proper, crackin' yer back massage, not a 'massage'! )

I was gonna go down to one of our tanning places and top up the pasty bits (cant bring myself to accept that its the middle of winter so am still wearing shorts and teeshirts as much as possible), but decided id look stupid compared to my pasty mates.

It's wierd, every girl I've seen with fake tan has been orange, I thought that was just the colour of fake tan...

i didnt think is was possible for english to tan. i only turn red, then go back to white.

don't feel bad about vanity/fake tan... My brother set the record for tanning vanity, when he went to a solarium just before summer....

At least it's acceptable for girls to get fake tan.

Ok so an update...


It was HILARIOUS. Went in to the little beauty shop and had to totally strip and put on this tiny little paper thong (those ladies who are partial to the odd bkini wax will know exactly what i mean) lie on a table pretty much naked.

Then the beautician came in and exfoliated me all over. And I mean ALL OVER She did my face and neck and then the rest of me then gave me a bit of a facialy massagy type thing and then covered me in brown goo, again all over, very few white bits me think

Then i just had to sit and wait for it to dry. Its still a bit sticky and tonight I have to have shower to get the excess off. It gets darker as time go's on so im getting oranger as we speak..

And yes I am a bit orange but I think its good orange, not Ross from friends orange....

I might go and get an eye lash tint next week

And no there is no video footage, no photos and there never will be, unless someone else takes a camera out tomorrow night and even then you lot are not seeing the results... Well i MIGHT send you a pic Phil.
