I found out last night that my so called 'best friend' has been sleeping with my ex.

It's after I finished with her, so technically it's none of my business but it's still upsetting! It doesn't make any sense.

What's even wierder is that she's still begging me to take her back. Fat fleshing chance of that now! :(

Oooh, out of order

Morally, the ex has done nothing wrong - she owes you nothing. But the best friend, that's betrayal worthy of a slow painful death :ninja:

Friends ex's - off limits.

I guess it;ss different for different people. I found out a good friend of mine was with my ex.... I was pissed off, but only because I found out from someone else. I was more disappointed that I had to find out from someone else. Soon forgot about it though... They seemed happier than she and I ever were!

I definatly say that best friend with an ex is ok.....THOUGH, the right thing to do if you are that friend, is to either ask, or inform that something is/might be happening.

Not saying anything, and letting you find out from a third party source, is not good.

I'm not sure that I'm of a particular opinion either way, I guess it's gotta depend on the circumstances, especially if, as Timmo says, you can see that they are happier together than you were. And again it'd be different if it's just "meaningless" sex. But letting you find out from someone else is definitely harsh!

Don't let it get you down too much Fox! x

Oooh that always does hurt - even though it shouldnt.

i think friends ex's are off limits - unless its something special or was years ago.

If she's begging for you back while with him then you are probably best off out of there -wish them well and go on your merry way

ps - your avatar looks so sad *big hug*

Before I weigh in on this subject, I need some critical information.

Is she hot?

I can't comment as i was once an evil sinner. Used to leave a girlfriends place, get of a few stops later and see her best mate, oops, also a long time ago.
Then there was the best mate and sister incident that happened after a bottle of JD, oops again.

He did ask permission and I said no.

She had a fling with him for a couple of days then dumped him because she thought I wanted her back.

I've spent the last 12 horse drunk. And to ad insult to injuryu I've started smoking again.

I guess it hurts because I still like her.

I was supposed to be taking her swimming yesterday.

Oh well, now I have a hangover and I feel like I've sandblasted my lungs maybe I should go back to quitting smoking.

I spoke to her last night (she was one ringing me all day) and she threatened to kill herself if I didn't take her back, and I thought that I was being immature about this?!!?

Sorry to hear about that. :(

I would say, "at least I'm not the only one" but that would somehow imply I glad you're miserable as well and I'm not.

Hope you get over him soon.

And I just want to say a really big thankyou to everyone for being so friendly and supportive, it's wierd that it's easier (and probably more theraputic) to talk to people I have never met than my friends IRL.

Thanks.

Well, I'd blame her for not being more discrete more than your friend.

She looks and sounds like trouble. Never take someone back on a threat.

But you do have to tell them that they can't pin anything on you. I had a ex or two that were bit off and post-breakups were somewhat weird.

You just have to move on. You'll find someone else who's better for you. And hotter. Trust me.
