Well, it's January here....and last weekend was 75 degrees.
Anyways, it's supposed to FINALLY get cold again, tommorow night is supposed to be 26. I thought it was over! Finally, my beloved winter was back!
But....no....the 10 day forecast is saying 77 for next Monday.....
Anyone else putting up with this crap? I know I'm again whining about this but I need to.

So do you prefer winter to hotter weather???
Yeah it's like that were I am, all the spring plants are flowering! (should be sprouting in march) Normally i've had a foot or two of snow by now, not even a glimpse of it yet.

*All hail the snow gods we are not worthy, All hail the snow gods we are not worthy*

NO.....way...... are you seriouis?!?
I perfer one or the other, none of this half and half crap. The water's cold, the waves are crap, there is no snow, etc. I'll still surf, but the waves have to be at least decent for me to go out when it's freezing. In the summer I'll go for anything because I also just enjoy sitting out there. Also, the crowds really don't fall all that much on weekends, which is all I can surf during the winter.
Just bothersome. The place I ski at has finally given up and shut down, and they'll try to sell lift tickets if they have only enough snow to fill a 5 gallon bucket.

We usually get a fair bit of snow up north but quite often its not till late January, February and March, so I havent given up hope yet!

Our snow usually comes Feb/March - hopefully I won't miss all of it whilst I'm in Morocco....but I won't be toooo disappointed if I do!

Tons of snow in the mountains here. But where I live there isn't any snow and it has been really warm. 0 degrees Celsius is warm here. But we just got a winter storm advisory that the biggest storm in 2 decades has been moving into northern Alberta and is heading our way in 48 hours. Supposed to go down to -40. Sucks. I'll take the "in between 'round freezing" any day.

Hey Tom; what no waves for you on Saturday.
It was frickin' sweet in MD; peeling right handers => waist to chest, offshores, 75°F air temp(23-24°C).

Really? It's been pretty crappy for a while around here. I was actually planning to go with a shaper friend down to the beach to check out Austin's new shop (they know each other) maybe I should've gone. Sounds like ya'll had a really sweet day.
Looks like there might have a little something on Sunday morning down south...but whatever.

Looks like it cleaned up really fast today. Now the waves are breaking pretty smoothly at about hip high, maybe waist. Very, very clean.

Man I hate cold weather. I will take the not cold to warm weather any day over cold air. Tom, the waves were nice down here Sat. and Sun. Sat waist to chest and Sunday waist high with the temps in the 70's. I talked to my bro in Va. Beach and he said Sunday was not good at least in the morning. He said it was nice on Saturday.

Yeah, Sunday was crap here too.
But, Monday was sweet once again; I got a few after work (chest high). A bit colder than Saturday, but still not too bad.
