I've done a lot more of the former in the past? Wondering what your thoughts are on this and whether I need to address things.

DelbsGaffer, can't help you, hoping someone can help us both.
I'm actually new to the whole experience

- which isn't the best thing to confess at a forum like this

- but have agreed to go on a surfing trip with mates next year - can someone also advise me what it's best to start with - what kit I should invest in, UK probably South Coast or West Country.

I'd put either in a bag or a sock, a dress is just wrong.

Hi Proff....i wouldnt bother investing in any kit - you can rent it all easily in the SW.

??????????? Don't get this, northswell.
I'm a new member to the site, but I would recommend that you start on the boogie board, until you get used to the waves. Or have you done both, and are asking which people prefer? I like both.

Have you got really big feet? My surfboard wouldn't fit in a sock.

Clown!
DelbsGaffer, have you sorted your dilemna out yet? Can you boogie with your body, or surf if you're bored? What on earth is all this about?

I understand that Boogie Boarding is a lot simpler to master although does not provide as much of a rush as standing and lording it over the ocean. Always ensure that you wear a good wetsuit when trying either otherwise you may freeze your taters off.
Is that helpful Delbsgaffer ?
