Life wasnt crap/busy enough i had to go and get a job

Was in a greasy spoon with my mum and they walked up to me and asked me if i wanted a job. Obviously in front of my mum (who had just had to lend me 50 quid) I couldnt say no.

So I have lectures, my dissertation (aaaaagh), the whole 'break up' shite to deal with and now a horrible job too.

*seriously unimpressed with life at the moment*

I do 20 hours/week at one of those cafes in a supermarket...its a pretty good laugh, and weirdly it can feel like a relief going to work sometimes - I have to (at least pretend to) be happy and smiley, washing-up is quite stress-relieving, and I know I can't do any uni work so I don't worry about it.

Indeed, i have four jobs on the go as we speak - i still manage a sneak surf session each day

I was offered gloves but i cant be arsed, would have to take them off every time i served food or cleared a table.

I've just rung up my boss and told her i'm sorry but i cant do it after this week. I feel sooooooo bad cos she is the nicest person in the world but i'm just soooo stressed at the moment anyway it was just tooo much.
