Ok, this is really sad, but I haven't seen Neighbours in ages and i managed to get in from work early the other day and switched it on. i was totally shocked. I don't know who half the people are anymore and are karl and susan back together? i thought they got divorced... and what on earth is gail doing back in it... i remember her from about 20 years ago. Does anyone watch it? (Does anyone care?!!!)

Lol, I never really watched Neighbours but it was on telly one day and I turned around and saw almost the whole cast die in a plane crash! Maybe thats why all the 'old' cast are back....

Gail is back?!?!?!? What about Joe Mangle? I heard he was back a while ago - I havent seen that program in ages.
I suspect if you watch one more episode you'll have got the whole plot line for the last 12 months

It has a ton of write ups dating back eons. And its Aussie pace so if you read the recent stuff you'll be about 8 weeks in advance. I've been on the site for about a year cos i've never got time to watch telly - the write ups are hilarious and the bitching that goes on...

i used to watch it when i was in school, they had a stereotype surfer-dude in it called brad who had long blonde hair and was thick as mince. They even actually went surfing in one episode and there was a big drama about one of them breaking a board or something.

I watched neighbours about 12 years ago so im guessing a lot has changed

still its better than american daytime tv urghhhhh oh and much much better than eastenders if i ever have to sit and watch that show again i'll shoot myslef. :wink:

i remember that too! It's scarey thinking just how many years i watched it for. do you remember des & daphne & jane & nel mangle and when the first lucy went blind and clive rescued her from that hole? (nail biting stuff when you're a kid!) it seems like a lifetime ago. I can't believe harold is still in it... and how he got away with coming back from the dead i do not know!

that was so sad - just when he was trying to tell phoebe not to have an abortion and got run over... it was tragic!

i miss shane (the fit one who was in flying doctors) he's not so fit now though
