long day - so whats the worst that can happen.....?

So, I worked my usual 15 hr Friday. Had a bad day at my office job, worked through lunch and was thourghly stressed all day. Left work to get to my second job but running very late ate dinner on the go and got to youth club - which fortunately, was quiet.

Nevertheless, by the end of a long day really fancied chilling with a beer at home and watching a film. So I popped to tesco on my way home, picked up some becks and was so happy to be at home at last.

I pulled the beer out and saw the dreaded words....'alcohol free'. Nooooooooooooooooooo! I kept re-checking but it was definately alcohol free!

Honestly, what is the point of alcohol free beer!! If i didnt want alcohol I would drink water!!!!! Is it just sick prank to pull on people who are too tired to read the packaging properly!! - for goodness sake put it in the soft drinks isle!

I couldnt believe my schoolgirl error. But my boyfriend and I did laugh on the way back to tesco to get a real drink - and some muchies to compensate. Taxi for Sar!

I am now chilling with a nice Peroni thankyouverymuch

Classic. I feel for you, glad you put an end to the madness and went back and got the full strength stuff..many would have given up and gone to bed once they had realised there mistake

Ive got a theory that normally Non-alchoholic beers would be in the soft drinks section but when sales are low they chuck em' in the real beer isle so's unfortunate weary peeps like you and i accidently grab em ' ..i also blame the brewerys cause they put a label on em' that looks too damn much like the real versions ..

And how fleshing upsetting must it be for the lowly wino on the street ..imagine youve just spent the whole afternoon outside a bus depot sucking on an old harmonica for change ..off you go to tescos with your hard earned pennies ..and you come out with a fleshing bottle of non-alchoholic White Lightning .. gutting .. i feel for em .. i really do lmao

bad days definitely bite. my friend just told me he was driving through an intersection with one of those cameras atop the traffic light, and he crossed on a yellow light. the camera lights flashed, indicating that most likely the camera took a picture of him running the light (even though he said it was yellow), and may be getting a $300 traffic ticket for it.

what about posts about good days? e.g. today i sort of unexpectedly received a check for $360 in the mail from my employer. and, even riding whitewater slop on a beautiful California day in autumn is a good day for me.

Great idea re. the 'good day' post. May I offer this for the second post - you need to start it, you own the idea!

Ditched the coursework, the housework, the diet and the sorting out my finances and other such dreary, stressful boring stuff that people have to do. Instead I....

Had my hair done which looks very nice and had lots of compliments, went shopping and bought some nice stuff, went to the oesteopath and got rid of my neck/headache which has been bugging me for a couple of weeks.

Met up with a good friend who I havent seen in a while over beer and food at lunch, met up with more friends and had a good chuckle over more beer.

Currently feeling very relaxed and have a belly full of my favorite dish from my favorite take away, with a tub of hagen daz waiting to be opened when I sit down to watch a good film.

Will that do? When I have a surf related good day i'll put it on latest surfs
