lol because im going off to costa rica soon, and i will be spending some time in the rainforest out there, they suggested you had to find a "natural" alternative to tampons and towels becuase you cant throw them away....lol honestly typing something like that into google you get so many weird weird weird methods of "managing the monthly flow"...lol and yes i did come across moon cupping.....*shudder*

Actually Brian said exactly what i was going to say. Just run your pills back to back with no week break. I did that for Bolivia and do it heaps anyway...

My GP once told me that you could probably get away with running them back to back all the time with no complications as long as you have a break every 6 months or so to make sure everythings still working

My wife was on a birth control injection that stopped them. i then read the side effects about the injection, so i had the snip, and now there back..

Maybe we should put 'Contraceptive of Choice' in the members profiles?

i did that for 6 months (well, with injections) and they had the WORST side effects ever - and I'm not going to make everyone sick by going into it!

but I didn't think that worked for ordinary oral contraceptives cuz I used to try taking it without a break every now and again (so it didn't ruin my hols and stuff) but it didn't work (no more details needed!)

You know what - maybe we should have a "female" only section to this forum! Then again, I reckon most blokes would just read it anyway. It's their own stupid fault if they get grossed out
