Doggie dudes have taken to the waves in the world's first ever canine surfing championships.

The Doggie Surfing Competition took place at the Coronado Dog Beach in California - where else?

I hate to say this about the state I live in, but that's one of the reasons they call California "the land of fruits and nuts". :D

Though there is actually a lot fruit grown hear as well as almonds and other nuts. :)

We even have sections of beach reserved as "dog beaches".
I don't see dog surfing as a babe magnet, as I think many women with their "poochie purses" would take thier dogs with them anywhere in thier purse.
