Just wondering what everyone drove in other parts of the world.
I have a old 96 Dodge Dakota, a 2000 Jeep Wrangler, and a 2000 Harley Sportster. Nothing classy or exotic, but their all paid for.

An 10 yr old piece of crap Ford Laser. I have never really been into cars.
It looks like this
My board can go straight in the back and I don't have to worry about getting sand everywhere.

2005 Rover Streetwise (dont start!!). Used to have a heap of a Peugeot 205 as my beach car but got rid of that a few months ago, have now got a Volvo 740 estate (when I get around to getting back to the beach!)

1998 Saturn, very boring though not outfitted like Hawaii's though. Its all manual, but it gets me where I need to go until I can get a new car.

A beat-up '91 Nissan Micra (it looks a lot like SPs car actually!!) Doesn't matter if it gets wet/sandy/waxy
The car in my avatar is Sean's - Subaru Impreza that we have to keep a bit cleaner when she comes to the beach!!

A volvo S40 that ive broke the boot on so have to stick my board in through the passenger door, now have wax on passenger seatbelt/roof (inside & out)/both front seats and all in the boot.
Want to buy a van but the volvo's paid for and cant really be assed with repayments on a van.

BMW 318IS - M reg('95) bit boring but very reliable and it is big enough with the back seats down for my boards.
Toyota Celica GT4 - H reg('91) but its off the road atm, needs some electrical work, limiter keeps cutting in, faulty knock sensor wiring. But I love driving it - 225bhp 4wd turbo

!
I'm sort of looking for something else to replace them both. On the short list is a Scooby estate, Mitsi VR4 Legnum(estate), BMW 325CI Sport, Saab 93 2.0T Aero, Audi A4 T-sport Quattro and still looking... Trouble is I keep getting carried away with prices and topped out at just over 13K

with the Beemer which is just stupid on my wages so I'm gonna have to forget that, and if I'm being half sensible I think I'll stick to the Scooby idea.

Hey, I've got an MX-5 too. Great toys.
Mine's a soft top, I just unzip the back plastic window & slide boards in the passenger seat.
excellent fun.

I've got a 99 explorer, it gets the job done. Got full roof racks arcross it, so it can get all my boards there.
Although I guess it's been at the beach too much, because I've got a couple of rust spots in the bumper I'm grinding out and filling back in.
I'm kinda casually looking for either a 70s MGB or a Jeep Wrangler or CJ if I'm lucky, to restore. I'm starting to think the Jeep would be a better option, because I would much rather be in 3 feet of mud, sand, rocks, whatever than going fast.

I wouldnt mind getting a second car, maybe a truck of somesort ??? better than sticking my board in the passenger seat !!!
