Surfing Waves

Theres a Jools Holland gig on 5 miles from my house in the grounds of Alnwick Castle and I can hear it really clearly. Theres nothing but fields (and a very big hill) between us and the music and its a lovely clear still night so the sound is travelling really well.

Its a beautiful sunset too so with this eery far off music its incredible....

sounds like a good night.


I have a random but not quite as cool thing. One of our drivers was sent to pick Ben Fogle (BBC Castaway blokey) up from a SHIThole of a local hotel tonight. The sod wouldnt bring him back to the depot though - I know hes a bit of a posh arse and that but still... yum.

Ha ha i'm not much of a Jools Holland fan either Pat, but the effect of it being 5 miles away impoves it somewhat

I'm sure he's a great pianist..........but his witty little comments and grating voice

Is 5 miles enough
