Guess I'll be first..but to be honest, all though you are all lovely people this is still our private life, so I don't want to wax lyrical..

Anyway, we had a really nice time together, and will be seeing each other again. It's all still a work in progress, we're not entirely sure where it'll be going, but we're having a really good time getting to know each other...

And, 'is Tim as sane as he appears on the forum?' I'm assuming that is said with more than a touch of sarcasm...!! Sure, he is a bit random, and sometimes these bizarre things seem to go through his head, but he is also nice enough to give me the freedom to tell him to shut up!! All part of the el_timmo charm, i assure you. And with that lovely WELSH accent, too...

But really, he is the most generous and attentive guy I have ever met.... I didn't have to do a thing all weekend without Timmo second guessing it and doing it for me... he has endless patience with my stroppyness, and made me laugh lots..

And I have an idea that I must have been aproved of too, otherwise he wouldn't have given me my own sailor's beret and made me a present of a new surfboard!!

(and I haven't let the fact that he spends all day making and shooting guns and rifles influence this message at all ... )

I really enjoyed spending time with iomarti this weekend, and hopefully, we'll be spending much more time together.

I'm not one to write much about my personal life on forums, but I will say that iomarti has been a great host this weekend, and made sure that I enjoyed every minute! As most of you already know, she's also a stunning lady, and most may not know that she can play the piano!!! Well she can play Nocturne in E Flat anyway!!!

in case you all are wondering, I did not actually give my board away!!! It's still mine, it's just on loan! But if by the time I get back, she can surf it better than I can, then I will agree to exchange my board for her girly mini mal with pink leash which I managed to surf for a while on Sunday. Yeah, but the beret was definitely a present!

But anyway, I think I have actually not sent a real message, but instead a load of rambling, but anyway, you wanted some goss, and now you have it!

Just to add my 2 pence....Met the two of them for the first time at the weekend, and I think they make a great couple. Although I didn't knwo whether I was allowed to call him her man or not!

quick update from Trinidad:

I am enjoying myself lots! My family met me in Tobago and we spent a few days there, and I was lucky enough to surf Mt Irvine which is a reef break, and although it doesn't look it, a hell of a paddle out! My arms were burning when I got out! I also surfed another spot further up the road which apparently nobody ever surfs.... not a bad spot when nowhere else is working!

Hope all is well with the forumites!!! You big bunch of nice people!!

KS I gave you free ads last night when I was drunk at a random house party.... seems the guy whose house I was at was a surfer and I told him you make the best boards I've surfed, etc etc.... I was just trying to look cool by saying that I know a shaper personally, etc hehehehehe

pat, the waves were surprisingly good last week in Tobago... 3-4ft in Mt Irvine and the same in the other place I was surfing at. I don't have any pics of the perfect waves in irvine, but I got pics that my brother-in-law took, although there are none of me doing my usual styling on the water... I was probably moving too fast! yeah right!!!!
