Is there anyone on this forum that plays a intrument?

I play bass and gutair, most in a 50's and 60's band, but sometimes in a Beach Boys band and sing.

If you do, what do you like to play and sing?

..Yes .. but i was told that i would go blind and that my palms would become hairy so i stopped ... then started ... then stopped .. then started .. and the eternal struggle goes on :lol:

I tried learning to play bass for a while but got bored so tried electric and got bored .. now i just strum a few tunes on my acoustic but i do love it , nothing takes boredom away like sitting there just simply strumming along to your favourite tunes or making up lil' songs of your own

(im more of a scratch dj kinda dude and my instrument is a set of technics 1210's but that doesnt really qualify for what your asking :wink:

i used to play the drums but i sold them and brought some 1210's but i couldnt aford to keep buying new records was costing me over £5000 a year so chucked it all in a few years back

now drums i would seriously love to play .. i remember when i was 16 my boss at the shop i was working in sold his and his wifes car to buy a set of Tama's with all Zilgon ( sorry cant spell it ).. top hats etc etc .. a sweet sweet kit worth nearly 12k .. man i used to just sit there in awe of those things .. and i can still play the beat he taught me .. class . Still would happily get more in debt for a kit if i had the space

Stones...the list goes on and on, but I'll stop there.

my other quiver:

Agile les paul copy full mahogony, ebony fretboard, set neck ect.

Epiphone dr200ce electric acoustic (i play this one the most as its the only one i took to cali with me so far)

Ibanez acoustic

roland bolt 60 watt tube amp

Hohner 40 watt SS amp

been playing for about 2 years now. i play mostly rock and acoustic, i was into blues for a bit, i try to play a little of everything.

Yeah, I see what you mean :oops:

OK......I play 4 string bass and 6 string elecrtic and classical.

I also have a piccolo bass, which is a short scale bass and the strings go from 0.55 to 0.18 so it's really good for chords and arpeggios.

I used to have an Ibanez 8 string bass which was great.....swapped it for a muddy fox mountain bike
