TOO HOT!!!

I'm sitting here wishing I was at the beach, but it's too crowded. It's almost 9pm and it's 86 degrees F, at my house, and we do not have central air conditioning, so most of the rooms are uncomfortably warm. It hit near 100 here today, but the water was probably in the 60s. I didn't even check the waves, but they were probably too big for me.

For anyone who doesnt know what the fahrenheit conversion is...

90f is about 32c

80-89f is 26 - 31c

70-79f is 21-26c

I actually LOVE hot weather. The hotter the better. Its supposed to hit 30 here today and im working this afternoon in a bastardy air conditioned office, so wont get to enjoy any of it :(

Too hot for what?
I can tell you that anything above 25 degrees c is too hot for shaping and glassing! Infact 20-25 is too hot for glassing, it usually means an early start and a lazy afternoon.

To get a rough Centergrade equilivant from farenhights just take 30 then half what you have left...

eg: 90F - 30 = 60
half of 60 is 30 so its 30C

People still want cabs on sundays though ;)

Doing a full 7 day week next week - my boss was on the mainland buying a couple of new wheelchair cabs this weekend and had a heart attack yesterday morning (well, saturday morning depending on when you read this), so im going in on my days off to do what his wife normally does (accounts, invoices, payments, drivers stuff etc...) so that she doesnt have a pile of crap to come back to when shes got better things to be worrying about.

Supposed to be 31 here tomorrow, 32 on Tuesday, 33 on wednesday and then back down  to 29 on thursday. Its just gone 11pm and its still 22 here at the mo. Lovely!!

It was 33 here today, now looks like its gonna be 35 tomorrow. Lovely.

Only bad thing is ive got a hospital appointment and the department im in tomorrow doesnt have air conditioning. Wouldnt normally moan, but ill be in there for two hours.

Went into work today to sort out the accounts and stuff so that Alie doesnt have too much xxxxx to put up with when she gets back. Silly moo walked in today - half an hour after getting off the plane. Had the air-con on full blast and set to 16 (lowest it'll go), but the office didnt cool down to less than 29 until gone 5pm
