Anyone work in Newquay want to do me a small favour please.?

I should have gone to the jobcentre in tuesday, instead I went surfing. They are now going to write off about £200 of my money unless I can come up with a letter from a company in newquay saying I had an interview on tuesday...

My crappy excuse - sorry I couldn't sign, I was at a job interview in Newquay ! They want a letter saying so. It'll never get checked or anything, it's just for the staff in the office - they won't even keep it...!

Any help would be appreciated guys! If anyone can help, next time I'm in Newquay I'll buy you a beer or two! :D

It was a really nice day. The morning was fantastic, but the wind basically died halfway through the day turning to a mild offshore (not worth talking about it was so weak) for the afternoon. Still got a fair bit of surfing in the arbo, but because the period dropped it was a mission paddling out - didn't help that I haven't surfed in a while and I'm out of shape!

Well worth blagging off the jobcentre, didn't think they'd give me so much grief though!!! I thought I'd just sign a day or two late, but they want to stop my money unless I can prove (blag) I was where I said I was.

Interesting variation on that - I normally eat mild curry. I was wandering home drunk in Bristol once, and I couldn't be bothered to cook. As I was staggering into the curry house it occured to me that I'd never eaten a truly hot curry... so...

I staggered up to the counter, pointed one unsteady finger at the guy and demanded that he "give me da hotest badboy in the shop!" It was an open plan kitchen and the grins on the cooks faces SHOULD have warned me what I was letting myself in for.

I managed to eat three mouthfuls. If I'd been sober it would have been more like one. I had to take the next day of work - I spent the entire time perched on the toilet in extreme agony crapping battery acid through the eye of a needle...!
