This thread is for all those avoiding or at least postponing doing uni work/worky work/ cleaning the toilet/ anything of use or substance.

I have a lecture at 1 and my brain just died so doing work would be silly and i've checked all my email addresses about 3 times and posted on here more than is healthy which means i'm running out of excuses as to why i shouldnt do some work in the 25 mins before my lecture.

Anybody else who has work to do but can't quite be arsed to do it....yet......feel free to post :D

I drove a long way into work on Saturday because I had so much to do then spent the next three hours surfing surf websites.

Ha ha... I'm so genius! I had to catch up on all that time late Sunday but I'd spent 10 hours surfing the weekend away anyway so I'm extremely happy.

Yayayayayay!!!

I should be asleep. I should also be sorting my photos out and getting them ready to go up on the stock site. Should also have written several chapters of my book (which I havent touched in three weeks)... but can't be arsed.

Didn't sleep thursday night, was too busy arranging meeting points etc with a bunch of mad arse Canadians.

Didn't sleep Friday night, met said Canadians, plus my mainlander mate, went out for dinner and got rather drunk, spent all night in the hotel room drinking wine and laughing about a hole in my mates duvet cover (nicknamed 'the xxxxx')

Left the hotel at 9am to find that the nearest Starbucks didn't open until 9.30 (not good when you're in urgent need of caffeine). Got back to the hotel at 2.30, after spending hours walking around Bristol (mainly Clifton area, wanted to see the little bridge  ). Got ready to go to the show.

Got to Colston Hall at half 4 and got a bollocking for being late for the VIP party (oops - not!!). Had a load of free booze (nice), went and saw the soundcheck, more free booze. Went into the hall and found my seat (front row, centre stage right next to the aisle!!). Heard one and half songs from the support act, walked out and went back to the bar for more free drinks (I was gonna get the iPod out but seeing as my knees were touching the stage, she was close enough to kick me in the face). Went back into the hall just before he was due on stage. Got my name and seat number called out - ''ooooh, Jen in A18 is already pissed... (he had to stop talking whilst everyone laughed)... and is well up for a shag''. Every bugger in the front row was recording it on their cameras and phones (including me - by now completely mortified!!), so now of course its all over the net. Had some fat yeti stood next to me squealing in my ear because he happened to have the seat next to Jen in A18 (that'll be me by the way). Bopped my arse off for two hours, then as he was going off stage he gave me a part chewed Werthers Original - covered in spit. Hello eBay.

Didn't sleep saturday night as my room was marked out for the after show party room - 15 people in one (medium sized) hotel room. Queue complaints from City Inn Bristol management (apologies to the chinese couple in the room above btw ), complaints from the room service waiter who refused to bring us a corkscrew (amazing what a fiver will get you though).

Was on the plane at 1pm, back here by 1.35 and back home by 2. Still havent slept, and have got a gorgeous bug now - anyone want a high temperature, dodge belly, dizzy spells and a body that feels like its been trampled over? No takers? Didnt think so.

So yeah, its now 2am, havent slept in about 70 hours, I've gone past the point of tiredness now, my eyes cant focus enough to sort the photos out or even to think about writing, and im back to the 'cant sleep' stage. And theres crap all on MTV.

Stonking weekend though  8)

Ha, good post. I have a load of work to finish for uni in the next 2 weeks and then I have exams. Ive gone so lazy though, and cant be bothered to do any of it. I always leave work till last minute. Its funny how much time I waste doing nothing too.

Its hard to feel motivated now that the weather is getting better and everyones getting that summer feeling, ready to go down to the beach.

Today in the UK its a bank holiday (extra long weekend for... er... no reason at all really) so I could be having a day off... but the surf is rubbish today so Im working now so I can have my day off later in the week when the surf should be much better :D

So in one way, Im doing the opposite of procastinating - getting all my work done so I can surf later...

..But on the other hand, Im working all on my own and spending too much time on this forum

Yep, I should be working on my paperwork for my teaching certificate, or doing the massive amounts of reading that I am behind on for my Master's classes, and term paper due in 2 1/2 weeks. But yet I procrastinate, seems I work better under last minute deadline pressure.

" Im stuffed ... my Work makes me lazy !! im trapped in an ever increasing lazy circle of the more i do the less i get done :? !!!!!

In fact i'd go as far as saying my job is what lazy was invented for so its kinda hard getting motivated for work that de-motivates my customers !!

..in true Rolf Harris stylee ... " can ya tell what it is yet " ??!!

Imagine the mess on the beds though... you'd have a hard job (no pun intended) selling them unless said mess belonged to a celeb  I hear celeb stains are selling for a bomb these days

hey, I'm doing it again!! :D

Instead of reading an assinged novel study, doing a lab write up, and writing 50 notecards for a research paper, I'm looking at this!
